When paired with the aluminum APEX Rear Step, they double as a dependable tow point (note: aluminum bumpers are not designed for recovery use without these points), giving you peace of mind during heavy-duty pulls and maneuvers.

On both 144” and 170” wheelbase Sprinter vans, the tow hitch often contacts the ground when crossing ditches or uneven terrain — these recovery points add valuable protection, preventing damage to the finish of your rear step while maintaining full towing capability. Not compatible with steel shackles. Only to be used with soft shackles or ropes.
